Your wardrobe and your calendar are yours
How MyStyleOS (My Style Operating System) handles your data, in plain language. MyStyleOS does not sell your data, show ads, or share your wardrobe with anyone.
What MyStyleOS stores
The items you add and their photos; where they are and whether they are clean; your occasions, trips and packing lists; the outfit MyStyleOS suggests each day and how you answered; what you wore; the rules you set; and what MyStyleOS has learned from your choices.
Photos are private. They are shown through links that expire within minutes, and are never public or indexed.
Sizes you type on your Profile are kept with it, exported with it and deleted with your account. They are never read from a photo, and they leave MyStyleOS only inside your own request: a reference search for one of your items, or the wording of your own gap report.
Your calendar
If you connect a calendar, MyStyleOS reads today through the next two weeks, once an hour, to understand what your day needs. It keeps each event's time, place and whether it looks client-facing.
Meeting titles are not kept unless you turn that on, and turning it off deletes the ones kept. Attendees are never stored by name or email address: only the company domain and a scrambled code that means nothing outside your account, so MyStyleOS can tell when the same people come back.
Event details are deleted 30 days after each event. You can choose 7 or 90 days instead.
Your calendar link is stored encrypted. MyStyleOS never shows it again and never writes to your calendar.
Your location
MyStyleOS dresses you for your home city unless you tell it otherwise. On Today you can confirm where you will be, type a city, or tap Use my location. Your device's position is read only on that tap, never in the background, and is rounded to about 1 km in your browser before it is sent.
The location you set for a day is kept for 7 days after that day, then deleted. It is included in Export my data.
Outfit photos
A morning photo is used for one thing: recognising which of your own clothes you are wearing. It is not stored. It is matched and discarded, unless you turn on Keep outfit photos. The photo is never used to describe or judge you, only your clothes.
Turning keeping off deletes the kept photos straight away.
The same photo can show clothes that are not in your wardrobe yet. MyStyleOS names them only by type, colour and pattern and offers each one to add. The crop of a piece is made on your device and uploaded only if you add that piece, as its item photo. Add from a mirror photo in your wardrobe works the same way and never keeps the photo, whatever the setting. To log an old photo on the right day, your device reads the date the photo was taken from the file itself and suggests it; you confirm the day before anything is logged.
Unfinished photos. So an interrupted session loses nothing, MyStyleOS saves what a photo showed until you finish or discard it: a crop of each new piece, what it is, and what you still have to decide. The photo itself is still not kept. A crop becomes an item's photo only if you add that piece; skipping it deletes the crop. An unfinished photo left for two hours gets one reminder, sent the same way as your evening outfit: a notification where you allow them, and an email you can turn off. It says how many pieces are waiting, never which. Discarding can be undone for 7 days, then everything is deleted; one left untouched is discarded after 14 days.
AI assistants
You can connect MyStyleOS to an assistant such as Claude. You approve exactly what it may see and change. Its access expires every hour and is renewed only while the connection stands. Disconnecting, signing out everywhere or deleting your account ends it at once.
AI processing
Outfit choices, parsing a rule you type, reading a calendar event and recognising clothes in a photo use Amazon Nova Pro through Amazon Bedrock. Each request carries only your own data. Under Amazon's terms for Bedrock, requests are not used to train models.
Other services see only what they need. The weather service (Open-Meteo) gets a city or place name, including the place of a calendar event when MyStyleOS checks whether you are travelling, or, when you tap Use my location, your position rounded to about 1 km. When you look up where an item was sold, the search service (Serper) gets a short description of that item. The spoken digest is made by Amazon Polly from public headlines only. Email is sent through Amazon SES.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the evening notice names tomorrow's outfit, so it can appear on your lock screen. Every other notification carries only a count and a link. Notifications travel encrypted through your browser's own push service.
Morning digest
If the morning digest is on, Today shows the newest headlines from publishers you choose among NPR, Harvard Business Review, McKinsey and Gartner. MyStyleOS reads each publisher's public feed once an hour on its own server, for everyone at once, so no publisher learns who you are or when you read. Each line is the publisher's own summary; nothing is rewritten. Following a link opens the publisher's page in a new tab and sends them nothing from MyStyleOS, not even the page you came from. The picture a publisher chose for a story is copied to MyStyleOS's own store on the same server, for everyone at once, and shown faded behind the spoken edition from there, so the publisher never sees you load it. What you were shown each day is kept for a week, and no record is made of what you read or played.
The spoken version is made by Amazon Polly from those same headlines and lines, stored privately in your account for a week, and played through a short-lived link. It contains nothing about you or your wardrobe. You can turn the digest or its audio off in Preferences.
Visits to the front page
The public front page counts, per day, how many times it was opened, which sign-up button was pressed and how far down people scrolled. That is all it records: a daily total for each. No cookie is set and nothing is stored in your browser. Your address, device and the page you came from are not recorded. Nothing links a visit to an account.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the page counts nothing. Pages behind sign-in are not counted at all.
Export and deletion
Export my data (Preferences → Privacy) emails you a link to a zip of everything MyStyleOS keeps about you, as JSON and your photos. The link works for 24 hours and asks you to sign in.
Delete my account removes all of it, photos included, and disconnects every assistant at once. It is finished within 7 days. You can also reset what MyStyleOS has learned, delete audience history, or delete any item at any time.
